Greetings Couples
It is not by accident that you are on this site! We greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! My name is Leonard Pettway, and the Queen standing with me is my PFL, Monica Pettway. We want to personally welcome you to our site where we will share our story, the goal, mission, and vision that God has given us in assisting couples on their marital journey. We firmly believe in the institution of marriage, and want to share with you some biblical, and practical principles that will be a guiding light for you in the "maze" of marriage.
Meet the Coaches
Monica and I have been married for 26 years! Our journey is a long way from being over, but it has come a very long way. See, we refuse to come out here and make you think that we have always had it together, so now we are an authority on marriage. No sir, no ma'am, this is not the case. Our wisdom on our marital journey comes with many valley experiences, but we are still here. It is through those valley experiences that we're able to Coach and Mentor other couples...we know what to look for and can show you how to go through and avoid the many struggles that so many have succumbed to. We met in Mobile, AL at the University of South Alabama. See, what had happened was...Monica was going into a 9 am Accounting class as the previous class, my class, was dismissing. I was late leaving the class as she entered. She immediately diverted my attention from the board, and I said hi! Since those humble beginnings, we have raised 1 son, Jaylan "Jayman" Pettway. Jayman is currently a freshman in college as we are newly empty nesters! God has truly blessed us over the years, it is worth repeating; God has truly blessed us over the years, because without HIM, there would be no Leonard & Monica. After year 5, Monica and I was as close to divorcing as one could get without actually doing it. I will spare you guys the intricate details, but just know, if it had not been for God...
God's Vision
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 We realize that God has placed His vision inside of us concerning married, engaged, and seriously dating couples. Over the past 26 years, we have learned so many truths as it relates to marital bonds. God has called us to use the many lessons learned over the years to coach many couples in and outside the church. God's vision is for us to speak into the lives of the seriously dating couples to give them a road map of what lies ahead. The vision is to mentor and coach the engaged and married couples as they navigate through the many terrains of marriage. In working God's vision, it is our life-long endeavor to use our Platform and Ministry to strengthen our community, state, and country, one couple at a time.
